Casual Day Committee Donates to Allendale Area
On March 14th, our AcenTek office in Allendale, Michigan, celebrated Pi Day by enjoying various types of pie. While staff enjoyed the “holiday” with food, they decided it would also be appropriate to give food. An End to ACP
On January 11th, the FCC announced that the ACP (Affordable Connectivity Program) is expected to end in April 2024 unless more funding is received. New Area Code Coming to Minnesota
Forecasts suggest that the 507 area code will be completely exhausted by early 2025. To make sure new telephone numbers are available, the Minnesota Public Utilities Commission approved the addition of the new 924 area code to the 507 area code region. Casual Day Donates in Michigan
In support of community, our staff in Allendale recently made donations to important organizations in the Allendale area. Two donations went to area libraries. The Allendale Township Library and Coopersville Area District Library each received $600 from AcenTek. Two more donations were made to organizations who help by awarding scholarships. Legistlators Visit AcenTek Office In Mesick, MI
On August 30th, four legislators and two staffers visited our Mesick office to discuss the broadband improvements AcenTek has been deploying. AcenTek Announces New Internet Speeds
AcenTek announced improved speeds on their Extreme Velocity Internet (fiber) package. The announcement came with the added perk of unchanged pricing of the package. Our Mesick office recently used Casual Day contributions to make a donation to an area food bank. River Free Methodist Church Food Pantry received $600 from AcenTek this month. Non-uniform employees can choose to pay for the luxury of dressing casually for work. That money is then matched by the company and donated to non-profit
